Lamplighter Village
Our 55+ Community is the area’s premier place for active adults. Lamplighter Village’s Clubhouse features a grand ballroom with concert staging, dance floor and catering kitchen to host your large events. The clubhouse also features arts & crafts, ceramics and stained glass classes. A Billiard room with five championship size tables, separate card room and well-equipped fitness center help you stay fit and build new friendships. Our activity center includes a resort-style pool & therapy spa, 18-hole mini-golf course, bocce ball and shuffleboard courts to ensure that you always have something fun to enjoy.
Pickleball
Part tennis, part badminton, part ping-pong, and tons of friendly fun. Singles or doubles this sport is sweeping the nation, and it’s no wonder, easy to start and tough to stop, you’ll soon wake up every morning reaching for your racquet and hitting the courts, which won’t be a problem because we feature 8 pickleball courts, more courts than most other communities in our area.
Swimming
Few things are more refreshing than a dip in the pool, whether you’re doing laps or just lapping up the sun-soaked days, our crystal-clear blue water will be calling your name for an inviting dip.
Bocce Ball
From ancient game to garden party favorite, bocce, commonly known as Italian lawn bowling is a game of skill and simplicity, perfect for all ages, and laughs with friends. With 8 bocce ball courts, you’ll never run out of space to play this fun game.
Mini Golf
Lamplighter Village features a delightful 18-hole mini-golf course overlooking the lake and adjacent to the pool and spa. With its nautical theme, beautiful landscape and numerous seating areas, you’ll have a great place to hone your game, and play with friends.
Shuffleboard
With 8 new shuffleboard courts, Lamplighter Village provides the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors, challenge your friends and get some low impact exercise. Think you can score the highest without falling off the board into the alley? Well now you’ll have every opportunity to show your friends your skill. Plenty of shaded seating areas also give you space to rest and share stories with your new friends.
Ceramics
Try a different kind of spin. Enjoy a fun and relaxing learning experience creating one of a kind stoneware pottery you make from scratch, including time with a potter’s wheel. All ages and abilities are welcome. The only prerequisite; enthusiasm, and a desire to create.
Pet Parks
At Lamplighter Village, we know how important your furry friends are. That’s why we’ve created pet parks with agility equipment and plenty of ‘obstacles’ dogs enjoy helping them build muscle to stay healthy. We also have plenty of places to sit and rest while your dogs are playing.
Billiards
Attention all you billiards fans. You’ll never want to leave our billiards room with 5 regulation size tables. Come bring your friends and enjoy a game or two! This room also features the Wall of Heroes honoring all our residents who served to protect our country.
Fitness Classes
Don’t sweat it, with tons of classes you’ll be sure to find the perfect class to stay fit. We have endless opportunities throughout the day to keep you active, energized, and feeling better than ever.

Jazz to rock, country to swing, whatever your mood, we’ve got the tunes. Dance the night away or just toast to a great day, our talented musicians are ready to entertain morning, noon, and night.

From 50’s nights to sunset luaus, our themed events will have you busting out the poodle skirts, dancing the night away, and digging into fabulous meals. There’s no question that a good theme can take a party from average to memorable, and here we truly pull out all the stops for events you’ll never forget.
Stunning Beaches
Lamplighter Village is only a ten minute drive to some of the area’s most beautiful beaches. Whether you’re taking the grandchildren out to build sandcastles or just looking for a relaxing walk along the ocean, you’ll have plenty of spots to call your own. Make sure to check out some of these local favorites: Brighton Beach, St. Kilda Beach, and “Willy Beach”.
Downtown
If you ever want to step away from the beach, come and enjoy three Historic Downtown areas located in Titusville, Cocoa Village, and Melbourne. Perfect for a stroll in town! Here’s some locations you don’t want to miss: Downtown Melbourne, The Avenue Viera, and Ron Jon Surf Shop – the largest surf shop in the world!
Fine Dining
Melbourne is home to all types of cuisines from authentic Cuban food to waterfront seafood dining. Enjoy all the unique menus and bolstered dining experiences that the area has the offer. Check out a few of the popular restaurants while in and around town! El Ambia Cubano, The Mansion, Crydermans Barbecue, Cerratos Italian market and Deli, Chez Quan’s, Backwater, and Mel’s Tiki Café.

Known for its beaches, art galleries, and art museums, Melbourne is home to Space Coast’s most vibrant art scene. Just a walk along the downtown areas of Melbourne and you’ll come across beautiful murals and art installations! Aside from being an art scene, you’ll want to make sure to check out the Kennedy Space Center housing thousands of treasurers from NASA and their space exploration missions.
