Here it is the end of another season.
One of my vivid memories of childhood is when Christmas would come and my mother would exclaim “How could Christmas be here so soon? The time goes so fast.”
I distinctly remember looking at her and thinking “How can you say that?” It just didn’t make any sense to me.
Well, times have changed! Now, time seems to have grown wings and flies by so quickly that I sometimes feel in a whirl.
That is a little of how I feel now with so many friends leaving for their “other” home and not to be seen again for months. But, then I think how quickly the last six months have gone and I know that I will see them again in the blink of an eye. Hurray!
It has been another wonderful winter – even with cooler temps and more rain than usual. The weather isn’t all that makes this place great. There is so much more.
There will be a lot to behold this fall as our community comes back together in the fall. I look forward to it.
