Friends told me a couple of weeks ago that their neighbors were coming down for a short visit. This couple had visited 2 years ago for a couple of days so it wasn’t entirely new to them.
While they aren’t fully retired yet, they wanted to look around the area (Mesa) and see what was available and start to get an idea of what they may want in the future.
The “not yet snow birds” arrived on a Sat. night. Over the next couple of days, my friends dutifully drove them around to several resorts where they explored costs, amenities and the atmosphere of the resort.
Tuesday night they stopped by and said they had purchased a place in Towerpoint. They had been here 3 days!
I specifically asked them why they bought. They said that they hadn’t seen any place that offered more than Towerpoint and “the people are so friendly here”.
Wave and Smile! It does make a difference. The friendliness that we show to strangers (and each other) makes Towerpoint a special place. I’m happy to be a part of it.
