On Tuesday, January 19, the Highland High School Starlight Serenade Orchestra came to Sun Life for an evening of wonderful music. We enjoyed some of the most talented young people around the area and they played some of the most beautiful music. There were 5 Bass players, 9 Cello players, about 55 Violin and Viola players and one pianist. The piano, bass's, and cello's were all on the the big stage while the others walked around the room as they played. When it was all over - I thought to myself "it wasn't long enough" and when I looked at the time I thought " they played for about an hour".
If you ever want to hear some AMAZING, TALENTED young people get a chance to listen to them play. The school has 5 different Orchestras!. Next time they come-show up and you will enjoy a night of wonderful music. Highland High School - THANK YOU for a night to remember. Helen Halatsis
